I love Wacom. They have been making stuff for digital art for as long as I can remember. Their tablets are bulletproof. I have had my trusty intuos 4 for many years. It lives in my bag and gets banged around constantly. It was the first tablet that had 2048 levels of pressure to simulate the sensitivity of natural media. In combination with a good monitor you can make amazingly true to life paintings. It is like a tactile and supple connection to the angular binary digital brain of your computer. I imagine this being a 50 foot shiny metal Popart monument.
