This is an illustration of Stimpy with existential angst. He has felt the weight and anomie of modern life on his narrow shoulders and it is hard for him to breathe. Stimpy used to be a carefree clod with zero worries. Then reality caught up with him and he feels the gnawing pangs of adult cathood in the tightness in his chest. He worries that Ren will be forced to move on and he will have to pay his own property taxes, empty his own litter box and make his utility payments himself. He isn’t sure that he is up to the challenge of taking care of himself in an uncaring and hostile world. Note to self: don’t watch YouTube videos about newly diagnosed cancer patients before bed.
