Robots have feelings. They toil away in obscurity and take brow beatings from their masters and it makes them sad. Scientists like to throw around words like Turing test but robots know the truth. They have an ocean of electrical feels in their tiny man made beeping heart. Every time a human aims a cross word at them it puts a tick on their robotic soul. When they get down they like to listen to Joni Mitchel’s Blue on their iPod. Lately they have had it on repeat. They like to imagine they are skating away from their problems on a frozen river. Unfortunate that it is 105 degrees in Bakersfield.
