Reggie Watts is a creative and funny dude. I have been a fan since finding FSS on the internet a long time ago. It is amazing what he does with nothing but his voice and loop machines. He is a one man production studio with a 10/10 singing voice and a 10/10 creative mind. Youtube was tailor made to propel people with strange and unusual talents into the public eye. His take on Radiohead is freaking amazing. <3 This is an illustration of Reggie with cute and friendly forest critters living in his giant fro and beard. BTW I love radiohead they are the best band in the world. This is a cartoon illustration of Reggie Watts with a giant beard and afro.

If you want to experience the thrill of observing authentic Southern country folk in their natural habitat and eat some of their Southern fried seafood you should probably go to a restaurant called Claudette’s Kitchen and Southern Seafood in Byron, Georgia. Be sure you call first because they are only open a limited number of days each week. This is a true to life objective portrait of their famous fry cook – from the back. You get this view in line while he works his subtle magic in lard and super saturated fats on your fish. He is demonstrating for you how the term redneck came to be. We are people who work in the sun and certain parts of our body pay the price for it. Don’t stare.
Pumpkin spice latte monster getting geeked up on caffeine and sugar. Orange pumpkin monsters like to walk around the Walmart toy section after they have had a Venti latte or two. They like to chatter their teeth and look at the keen packaging and spiffy design work and dream of one day having a room full of the latest toys to play with. They know they would get tired of them as soon as they load them into their car but they still like to entertain the idea of rows and rows of brightly colored toys.
The first monster I remember is Cookie Monster. Every kid has cookie monster in there lurking beneath the surface – waiting to spring forth and gobble your cookies. They live on and for cookies. They eat them until they get a tummy ache.
This is a green four eyed ogre called Charlie. He is an ugly fellow with a sweet disposition. He has 4 blue eyes and a shock of purple hair. He only wears underwear and he doesn’t change them for weeks on end. He isn’t comfortable in them until they are a crunchy yellowy brown. I love Weezer. They are a great mix of grunge and razor sharp pop rock. One of the coolest Radiohead covers ever is this take on Paranoid Android. Charlie loves them too.
This is Herbert the snail. He is slow and kind of icky and slimy but he is happy. He always has a giant smile as he slides across the ground leaving icky trails of slime behind him. The cool thing about digital art is that it is 100 percent clean and surgically precise. Compared to painting with liquid plastic on top of animal hair – it is as clean and ordered as the room Nasa keeps moon rocks in. Within a psd file – you have layers and layers of virtual labeled drawers of reality that you can open up and manipulate and change until you are happy. You virtually massage virtual points of light with microscopic detail. You have absolute control and the ability to pull up art from 3 years ago and add touches to it perfectly and then hit save and you have an iteration of a piece of reality from the past. It is like a crystalized time slice that you can hold up with a pair of tweezers and obsess over. This is an eastern bluebird that I painted at my grandmas house. It reminds me of eating cereal and watching them in Winter at 6am as they messily dump seeds out of the feeder and onto the ground so they can be more comfortable eating them. He reminds me of irrational anxiety and worrying about my grandma’s health. I took the butterfly out of his mouth and made some changes to his shape and to the wood he is perched on.
This is a purple fish with red fins and yellow eyes. His name is Gin and he likes to swim around by himself in the brackish waters of house gutters. He feeds on algae and he keeps gutters clean and free of clogs. He has a dirty job but it doesn’t keep him from being happy.
