I love old Nikes. I remember having some black Nike Air Ballistic Force Highs in highschool. They were the coolest shoes that I ever owned. My dad almost had a stroke when he saw how much my mom paid for them. They were really well made and they still look fresh by today’s standards. To many people who worship hiphop culture sneakers are their connection to eternity – as valid as a form of expression in modern culture as a painting by Basquiat or Warhol or a classic Blues record by Robert Johnson. This is a redesign of the Nike Air Revolution. It is a shiny all red plastic looking pop art sculpture with a Beatles soundtrack and Benday dots. It was influenced by Yeezy’s Red Octobers. On a side note photoshop is great for rendering shiny stuff. Who knew painting silly monsters hones your shoe rendering skills.
