I like Kid Cudi. He is basically the opposite of every hip-hop artist in American pop culture. He cultivates the persona of a forever alone misunderstood nerd with few friends in the age of social media. He raps about imaginary worlds with positive if down beat vibes. He doesn’t glorify subjects that are damaging and offensive just for the sake of selling records and being offensive. The rap game could learn quite a few important lessons about life and making records from this guy. His record Man on the Moon is a modern day classic. BTW his name is pronounced Kid Cutty.
