I love Bolt. It is an underrated Disney classic about coming to terms with reality as you grow up. Besides being a sobering take on my childhood and mid life for that matter- it is a great buddy travel movie. Nothing is more comfy than than falling to sleep while you travel across the US with animated buddies. It is even more comfy if it is a winter night and you have lots of blankets to keep you toasty and safe. Rhino is a hamster who watches too much TV and he experiences everything he knows about life through the lens of television and a clear plastic bubble that both protects him from the outside world and keeps him from escaping into the wild. I identify with his plight. What he lacks in talent and experience he makes up for with love and enthusiasm. The guy who played him is Disney story man Mark Walton. In Rhino he created probably the single greatest spoof on the turbo geek fanboy in movie history. Nothing is more entertaining than a person who is delusional, lovable and propelled through reality by geekery. Rhino hamster ball illustration.
