This is a logo for a Champagne brand called Verisimilitude. It is a brand I invented that is infused with caffeine – I don’t even know if that is a thing but it should be. The design relies on retinal searing pure CMYK Memphis style colors to get your attention. I am fully aware of how to use color theory as it relates the the fundamental colors of offset printing. Those four colors are as saturated as ink on paper gets. The bottle is bright yellow. I used lowercase Futura bold for the text because it has circular dots and they float into the air and propagate like Phosphenes in a DMT trip. They become bubbles in champagne. I painted that bottle – get on my level. With practice you can actually make shiny objects look photorealistic in photoshop. I was painting with photoshop before most people even knew it was possible.
