This is a friendly but lonely skull and bones. He is worried that he will be hit by Irma. He watches TWC and it looks like she is going to miss west. To relieve his anxiety and occupy his time he likes to chew the rigid ice of his starbux black tea. He chews so hard that his fillings make sparks.
This is a goofy UGA football fan with a giant foam hand. I love the Bulldogs. I have been watching them since the days of Lars Tate. It is amazing to see them look like a national title contender. They have a world beating run defense and a great offense that can run and throw. I hope they can keep their head and stay undefeated and meet bama in the sec title game. Its still early though. Go Dawgs!
A baby is a happy little monster who grunts and drools and makes strange bodily noises. They live to be loved and taken care of. Here is bubbles without the bubbles.
In December, 2014 Mike Olsen was diagnosed with a little known chronic lung disease called Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. It causes progressive scarring of the lungs and it is fatal. It is the result of a faulty immune response by the body. Mike is working to raise awareness about this disease. Check out the Mike Olsen Project on Vimeo. It is a beautifully produced video about his plight.
I love Hunter S Thompson. He was a genius and a madman. He lived and commented on a time of great cultural flux — in the 60s and 70s in the USA. He hated authority and convention. He was a poet of comedy and sarcasm. He hated cartoons. In a tirade he had about the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas where the producers tried to talk him into having a wave animation during the High Watermark passage he all but obliterated Ralph Steadman and all cartoons and animation. He was highly offended that anybody would compare his work to cartoons or use a cartoon to portray his work. I think it is fitting that I draw a cartoon of him.
Morrissey is an Irish singer/songwriter who became famous in the 80s with his New Wave band The Smiths.
Baristas hate me and I don’t blame them. My anxiety causes me to act weird when doing something simple like ordering a coffee. Just talking to a stranger causes my stomach to knot-up and and makes it hard for me to breathe. I know baristas are nice and they do a tough job – but this is how I see them. Black barista with braces.
The Nightmare Before Christmas is such a great movie. It is visually amazing and it has aged very gracefully. I love The Mayor with his two faces. One worried – one happy, and both neurotic. Really captures the fundamental nature of politicians.
