A baby is a happy little monster who grunts and drools and makes strange bodily noises. They live to be loved and taken care of. Here is bubbles without the bubbles.
I love when fat people ride scooters. The contrast in size is shocking and funny. This guy’s name is Roscoe. His street name is Big Love. He is a dedicated Broni who rides his vespa scooter to the laundromat to pickup homeless chicks. He gets disability and he woos the ladies with his designer shoes and name brand laundry detergent.
This is an old Macintosh computer. It represents how prospective employers see me. I think they are too intellectually challenged to comprehend that people get better at difficult jobs as they become more experienced. As Malcolm Gladwell pointed out: the 60,000 hour rule dictates that after about 20 years we become an expert at the jobs we practice. You clowns need to recognize expertise when you see it and stop penalizing the people who will make you rich.
Creepy red fish cartoon. Chuck the fish lives in the un-chlorinated and brackish water under grandmas pool cover. He likes to eat orange algae and tiny paddle bugs for dindin. It gives him mountains of icky energy to swim around in tight circles to impress and or creep out the beautiful lady fish.
Uncle sam is flying his trusty f‑86 Saber through Korean airspace. This jet is from the era when pilots flew by the seat of their pants and outmaneuvered bad guys within visual range in old fashioned dogfights. I love the 50s. Americans were cool and smart back then and the USA was the king of the world. People forget that North Korea and China invaded the South to start the Korean war. I find it odd that 86 is American slang for getting rid of something and that 86 is also the phone code for dialing China.
This is Parappa the rapper. He is a cute hiphop dog created by pop artist Rodney Greenblat and the first rhythm game I remember playing.
Baby titmouse perched on a wire. Tiny kawaii baby birds are my favorites. We get these little gray tufted titmice on our backyard feeders. To think — I used to shoot these cute little critters with my bb gun as a kid. The horror. Illustrator and photoshop.
I love Totoro. It is such a simple and gentle movie about summers and childhood and how a kid’s brain works to process the world with love and imagination.
This is a logo — ligature for Lady Gaga. It fuses L and G in an Art Deco style. It is a movement in design that manages to look both futuristic and retro. I made it thicker and more italicised so that it evoques lightning — like her thunderbolt motief. I included a few different color schemes.
This is the Fighting Irish mascot with a coat of new paint. I made him look three d with the airbrush in Photoshop.
I love the Beatles. I have been a fan for as long as I can remember. Their movie Yellow Submarine is great. It has a subversive 70s stream of consciousness hippy imagination running wild narrative. The art director was Heinz Edelmann. RIP Mr. Edelmann. I love all of his psychedelic critters and inventions. They are so simple and perfect. All you need is love. And the internet. And spotify.
I listen to them on spotify almost daily. I like their later work the most with its ruthless inventiveness and sarcastic bent. It is hard to believe that 4 kids from England made so much world changing music.
This is a purple finch illustration. I used to watch them in the backyard with my grandma.
This is Popeye as a zoomer. He has tattoos and some chuck taylors. I did this art around the time the USS Lassen bravely challenged waterway rights in the south china sea. Popeye reminds me of my grandpa. He loved Popeye and served on a destroyer in the Pacific in WW2. They were sunk by a Kamikaze and he was in the water for two days.
