I have been living in and around Macon Georgia for a few years. This is fan art for a great Southern Rock band from Macon. I remember hearing songs like Melissa and Statesboro Blues as a kid and I never knew that they were considered some of the best songs in rock history or that I lived 20 miles from the Statesboro they were singing about. Southern rock permeates the radio in the South and it is background noise for much of what I do. Eat a Peach is one of the all time great rock albums. It took jamming to astronomic heights. I am proud that these guys came from Georgia. I added a moon man to their patented psychedelic motifs. He represents a psychedelic explorer in a Technicolor Psilocybin dream world. The shrooms are sentient creatures that giggle and make fart noises with their mouths and the trees dance back and forth to the electric guitars. And the sun is a giant fuzzy glowy peach that burns your retinas if you look at it for too long.
