About Me
My name is Mac McRae. I make visual solutions to communications problems. I find the best way to get your message across using a variety of methods such as typography, illustration and various print and layout techniques. I develop the overall layout and production design of magazines, newspapers, journals, corporate reports, and other publications.

I have a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Georgia and ten years of illustration experience. I work exclusively in 2d — 100% digitally in both illustrator and photoshop. I use a wacom intuos to draw and paint each piece in a traditional 1950s airbrush with frisket manner. Finished pieces are raster art — 300dpi at 12 inches. For a quote please contact me by email.
Testimonial
I consider myself very fortunate to have found Mac on the internet,
and recently completed aproject with him that called for designing
a “scared dragon.” From the moment I first saw Mac’s artwork on the
internet, I knew that he would be the best person to assist my
company in a creative marketing campaign involving the use of
postcards. Little did I know at the time that it would also be
a real pleasure to work with Mac, who, in addition to highly skilled,
is fast, responsive, and professional. I also found his prices to
be quite fair, and happily and voluntarily offered to pay him double
his originally-quoted rate because he went above and beyond the
original scope of the project. Mac is not only artistically talented,
but also very dedicated, as evidenced by his work product.
He offered me various versions of “scared dragons” until we found
the designs that weultimately chose for my company’s postcard
campaign. I am taking the liberty of attaching the final versions
of Mac’s artwork, as included on the finalized postcards, and highly
recommend his services to anyone seeking a professional artistic
designer whose passion for his work shows in each drawing.
Very truly yours,
Zel Saccani, J.D.
